Everything about National Child Labor Committee totally explained

The National Child Labor Committee (NCLC) is a private, non-profit organization in the United States.

History

Founded in 1904 by Edgar G. Murphy, the NCLC was incorporated by an Act of Congress in 1907 with the mission of "promoting the rights, awareness, dignity, well-being and education of children and youth as they relate to work and working."
The committee generally works with laws and regulations to prevent harm to children in the workplace. It is best known for the work of photographer Lewis Hine, who photographically documented poor working conditions for children across the U.S. during the early part of the 20th century.
